The 2024-25 Kamloops Blazers season awards were handed out prior to the final home game of the season.

The ceremony kicked off with Nathan Behm winning the Most Improved Player of the Year award. Behm has recorded 31 goals and 66 points in 57 games this season. That wasn’t the only award he would take home—he was also named the recipient of the Top Prospects Award for being a top prospect in the upcoming 2025 NHL Draft. Behm is widely projected to be a first-round selection.

Captain Emmitt Finnie claimed a plethora of awards, beginning with the Plus-Minus Award, as he currently holds a +1 rating on the season. He also captured the Three Star Award, the Dean Evason Award, the Top Scorer Award, and was named MVP of the season. Finnie leads the Blazers with 37 goals and 84 points in 54 games.

Ryan Michael and Harrison Brunicke shared the Defenceman of the Year Award. Michael also took home the Most Dedicated Player award. The Langley, B.C., native battled injuries this season but still managed 14 points in 45 games. Brunicke, meanwhile, has tallied 30 points in 39 games while also battling injuries.

Top prospect Tommy Lafrenière shared the Top Prospects Award with Behm. He also earned the Warrior of the Year Award, which he shared with Jordan Keller, and was recognized for playing in every game this season. Lafrenière capped off his impressive campaign by winning Rookie of the Year, having notched 56 points in 66 games—currently ranking second in WHL rookie scoring.

The Diamond in the Rough Award was presented to Ty Bonkowski and Vit Zahejsky, both of whom are playing in their first full WHL seasons.

Finally, the Goaltender of the Year Award went to rookie Logan Edmonstone. Edmonstone appeared in 29 games this season, including a stretch where he started 13 consecutive contests. The Saskatoon product has posted a 7-17-2-1 record.
