Ontario Premier Doug Ford sworn in with new cabinet – March 19, 2025

Ontario Lieutenant Governor Edith Dumont presides over the swearing-in of Premier Doug Ford and his new executive council. Ford’s Progressive Conservatives are forming their third consecutive majority government after the party won 80 of the legislature’s 124 seats in the February 27 provincial general election.

The ceremony takes place at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto.
