Alberta amends Critical Infrastructure Defence Act – March 19, 2025

At a news conference in Edmonton, Premier Danielle Smith announces amendments to Alberta’s Critical Infrastructure Defence Act, to better protect Alberta’s southern border and to improve safeguards on essential infrastructure.

She is joined by Mickey Amery, the minister of justice, and Mike Ellis, the deputy premier and minister of public safety.
