In Iqaluit, Prime Minister Mark Carney makes an announcement on Canada’s sovereignty and security in the Arctic.

He is joined by Bill Blair, the minister of national defence, Jennie Carignan, the chief of the defence staff, and P.J. Akeeagok, the premier of Nunavut.
