À l’issue du Sommet des ministres des Affaires étrangères du G7 à Charlevoix, le Canada et les autres pays membres ont appuyé la proposition américaine d’un cessez-le-feu en Ukraine. La Russie pose cependant encore des conditions. L’ancienne ambassadrice du Canada à Moscou Anne Leahy affirme à notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance que la Russie « va tout faire pour étirer les discussions » au sujet d’un éventuel cessez-le-feu en Ukraine pour tenter de faire des gains sur le terrain.
