Carney addresses the Trump threat in his first day as PM: Bureau chiefs panel – March 14, 2025

Prime Minister Mark Carney spoke about his plans to deal with U.S. President Donald Trump in the first conference of his premiership. He said they “will look for avenues to work together” while he shut down Trump’s threat of annexation. CPAC’s Michael Serapio discusses those remarks with bureau chiefs Bob Fife (The Globe and Mail), Tonda MacCharles (Toronto Star) and Joël-Denis Bellavance (La Presse).
