Sask. Premier Scott Moe discusses trade war, Houston energy conference – March 13, 2025

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe speaks with reporters in Saskatoon about the ongoing Canada-U.S. tariff dispute, as well as his government’s delegation to the CERAWeek energy conference in Houston, Texas. Premier Moe calls on the federal government to support Saskatchewan farmers and communities ahead of China’s planned tariffs against the province’s canola producers. China is set to bring in the tariffs in response to Canada’s move to impose 100 per cent tariffs on Chinese-made electrical vehicles.
