Scott Moe, the premier of Saskatchewan, speaks with reporters at the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities convention in Saskatoon. Moe comments on the U.S. tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum and on the federal government’s recently announced counter tariffs on $29.8 billion of U.S. goods. Premier Moe also faces questions on China’s tariffs against Saskatchewan canola farmers. China’s trade action comes in response to Canada’s decision to impose 100 per cent tariffs on Chinese-made electrical vehicles.
