L’Essentiel : Le Canada réplique aux tarifs de Trump – 12 mars 2025

Le Canada a annoncé ce mercredi l’imposition de nouveaux droits de douane de 29,8 milliards de dollars en réponse aux tarifs américains sur l’acier et l’aluminium entrés en vigueur dans la nuit.

Par ailleurs, la Banque du Canada a annoncé ce mercredi abaisser son taux directeur à 2,75% afin de contrer les attaques commerciales des États-Unis. On a même laissé entendre que « les répercussions économiques pourraient être graves ». Parle-t-on d’inflation?
