P.E.I. Premier Rob Lantz responds to U.S. tariffs – March 4, 2025

Rob Lantz, the premier of Prince Edward Island, announces his government is launching the first phase of its tariff response plan. U.S. President Donald Trump imposed 25 per cent tariffs on Canadian goods overnight, prompting a trade war between the two countries.

Premier Lantz is joined by provincial ministers Darlene Compton (economic development), Bloyce Thompson (agriculture), Zack Bell (fisheries) and Jill Burridge (finance).
