
Storm In Charge With Game Two Win

The Kamloops Storm have taken a 2-0 lead in their best of seven series with the Quesnel River Rush with a 6-2 win on Saturday night in Kamloops. Game 2 was another physical affair but it was the Storm who jumped out to a 2-0 lead after one period and 5-1 after two periods. Noah Paulsen and Luke Rothfos had a goal and two assists each to lead the way. Ben Filippone, Braycen Dube, and Teghan Mullin had a goal and an assist while Hayden Selin had 2 assists. Justin Mol closed closed the scoring for the Storm in support of winning goaltender Brenner Fyfe who made 43 saves. Kamloops had 47 shots of their own. Game three is set for Monday March 3rd in Quesnel.
