NDP MP Charlie Angus and Amazon workers promote retail boycott – February 27, 2025

In Ottawa, NDP MP Charlie Angus discusses the recent closure of Amazon warehouses in Quebec. He is joined by Félix Trudeau, the union leader of Amazon workers in Laval, Que., and Louisa Worrall, a leader from the Boycott Amazon campaign.

The news conference comes on the day of an international retail blackout of Amazon and other companies, one of several boycotts organized by consumer groups to protest what they consider corporate greed.
