Alberta Premier Danielle Smith addresses health contract allegations – February 19, 2025

At a news conference in Calgary, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and Health Minister Adriana LaGrange respond to allegations of political interference in the issuing of health-care contracts.

Recently-ousted Alberta Health Services (AHS) CEO Athana Mentzelopoulos made the allegation in her lawsuit against the provincial government, claiming she was fired for looking into the matter.
