Former PMs urge Canadians to “proudly fly the flag”: we talk with Kim Campbell – February 12, 2025

Canada’s five living former Prime Ministers Joe Clark, Kim Campbell, Jean Chrétien, Paul Martin and Stephen Harper signed a joint letter calling on Canadians to “fly our flag with pride” on the 60th anniversary of its first raising this Saturday. For the 19th Prime Minister Kim Campbell, it’s about “standing for our national honour” in the wake of U.S. President Donald Trump’s declarations challenging Canada’s sovereignty.
