Ontario NDP Leader Marit Stiles proposes plan to help Southwestern Ontario – February 11, 2025

Marit Stiles, the leader of the Ontario NDP, holds a campaign news conference in Kitchener. She outlines a plan that would tackle affordability issues in Southwestern Ontario, highlighting a proposed monthly grocery rebate and a pledge to introduce rent controls to address rising housing costs.

She is joined by Catherine Fife, NDP candidate for Waterloo, and John Tartt, president of United Steelworkers Local 412021. Ontario voters head to the polls in a general election on February 27.
