Au Sommet économique Canada — États-Unis, organisé par le gouvernement à Toronto, des journalistes ont entendu le premier ministre Justin Trudeau affirmer qu’il fallait prendre au sérieux les menaces d’annexion par le président Trump puisque celui-ci aimerait s’emparer des minéraux critiques du pays. Notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance discute de cette menace, et des prochaines étapes diplomatiques avec les États-Unis, avec l’ancien ambassadeur du Canada aux États-Unis et au Mexique, Raymond Chrétien.
