Jagmeet Singh présente son plan pour répondre aux menaces tarifaires de Trump – 6 février 2025

À Montréal, le chef néo-démocrate Jagmeet Singh, présente son plan destiné à répondre aux menaces tarifaires énoncées par le président des États-Unis, Donald Trump. En point de presse, il affirme qu’avant même une éventuelle imposition de tarifs douaniers par les É-U, il constate l’impact des menaces alors que des entreprises québécoises ont commencé à mettre à pied des travailleurs. Il plaide en faveur d’une diversification des marchés. Il se dit surpris que le candidat à la direction du PLC, Mark Carney, veuille supprimer des emplois dans la fonction publique. Il est accompagné du chef adjoint Alexandre Boulerice et de deux candidats à la prochaine élection générale, Julie Girard-Lemay et Malcolm Lewis-Richmond.
