L’Essentiel : Le Canada s’active à sa frontière avec les États-Unis – 4 février 2025

Ce lundi, le président américain Donald Trump a suspendu pour 30 jours l’application de tarifs douaniers pour le Canada après qu’Ottawa ait démontré son plan d’action. Notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance revient sur les promesses canadiennes avec les députés Stéphane Lauzon (Parti libéral), Pierre Paul-Hus (Parti conservateur) et Simon-Pierre Savard-Tremblay (Bloc Québécois). Nous abordons également ces démarches avec la politologue Geneviève Tellier.

Des voix s’élèvent pour favoriser le commerce entre les provinces canadiennes afin de réduire la dépendance du pays aux États-Unis. Nous faisons le point avec Arnaud Franco, directeur de la recherche à la Banque de développement du Canada.
