Ford heard saying he was ‘100% happy’ with Trump’s election: journalists panel – February 4, 2025

Tuesday’s talk of the Ontario election campaign was the hot-mic comments of PC Leader Doug Ford, in which he expressed he was ‘100% happy’ with Donald Trump’s win in the 2024 U.S. Presidential election. He then expressed his dissatisfaction with the tariffs President Trump planned to hit Canada with. CPAC’s Michael Serapio discusses the impact of Ford’s comments on the campaign with journalists Robert Benzie (Toronto Star) and Sabrina Nanji (Queen’s Park Observer).
