Bank of Canada cuts interest rate to 3 per cent – January 29, 2025

In Ottawa, Bank of Canada governor Tiff Macklem discusses the central bank’s decision to cut its policy rate to 3 per cent from 3.25 per cent. He is joined by senior deputy governor Carolyn Rogers.
