Manitoba conservation officers to patrol Canada-U.S. border – January 27, 2025

Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew addresses the media in Emerson to announce that provincial conservation officers stationed in Virden, Boissevain, Manitou, Winnipeg, Steinbach and Sprague will join the RCMP in patrolling the Canada-U.S. border. As part of its effort to bolster border security, the province will also deploy utility terrain vehicles and helicopters to aid the conservation service in its work.
