Jaime Battiste launches bid for Liberal leadership – January 23, 2025

At an event in Darmouth, N.S., Jaime Battiste, the MP for Sydney–Victoria, launches his candidacy for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada. Battiste takes questions from reporters following his announcement.

Liberals will elect their new leader on March 9.
