David Ander had a goal and an assist while Brenner Fyfe stopped 38 of 40 shots he faced as the Kamloops Storm defeated the Kelowna Chiefs 5-2 in KIJHL action Saturday in Kelowna. Ander and Nik Dimopoulos gave the Storm a 2-0 lead thru two periods. While the Chiefs tied the game by the midway point in the third period Luca D’Amore, Luke Rothfos, and Braycen Dube scored unanswered to give Kamloops the much needed road win. Kamloops went 1 for 5 on their power play and killed 3 of 4 penalties. The Storm will return home for a Sunday 5pm game against division rival Quesnel.
