Doug Ford comments after meeting with premiers – January 8, 2025

Ontario Premier Doug Ford speaks with reporters in Toronto following of a virtual meeting of Canada’s provincial and territorial leaders. He confirms that the premiers will be meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Ottawa next week to discuss Canada-U.S. relations amid U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariff threat. Ford also says the premiers will be visiting Washington, D.C., on February 12 to meet with elected officials.
