Alberta invests in adaptive sports for youth – January 7, 2025

Alberta ministers Jason Nixon (seniors, community and social services) and Joseph Schow (tourism and sport) announce an investment of $500,000 in the AMP Legacy Foundation of Canada to support grade 3 students to play para hockey in an inclusive environment.

They are joined at the news conference in Calgary by Brad Layzell (chairman and founder of the AMP Legacy Foundation of Canada) and Chris Cederstrand (adaptive sports director of the organization).
