Memorial service for former B.C. premier John Horgan – December 15, 2024

A provincial state memorial service is held in Colwood, British Columbia, for former B.C. premier John Horgan, who died on November 12, 2024, at the age of 65. Horgan was a member of the B.C. legislature from 2005 until 2023 and served as the province’s 36th premier from 2017 until 2022. In November 2023, Horgan was appointed as Canada’s ambassador to Germany.
