L’Essentiel : Ottawa force le retour au travail chez Postes Canada – 13 décembre 2024

Le gouvernement du Canada a haussé le ton ce vendredi en menaçant un retour au travail forcé chez Postes Canada dès la semaine prochaine si une entente n’était pas trouvée d’ici là entre les parties patronales et syndicales. Yannick Scott, Directeur régional et porte-parole au Syndicat des travailleurs et travailleuses des postes, affirme dans une entrevue avec notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance qu’il s’agit « d’une grande déception » et évoque l’éventualité d’une contestation judiciaire.

La nouvelle entente entre Québec et Terre-Neuve sur l’hydroélectricité entérinée jeudi a fait grand bruit. Certains observateurs craignent néanmoins que le Québec paye ultimement trop cher son électricité. Nous abordons la question en plus de faire le tour de l’activité en politique fédérale, avec nos analystes Gilles Duceppe, Farouk Karim, Christine St-Pierre et Rodolphe Husny.

Le Commissaire aux langues officielles, Raymond Théberge, quittera ses fonctions en janvier prochain. Nous faisons un bilan de ses sept années en poste avec lui.
