Starting soon: Canada launches new Arctic foreign policy

Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly, Defence Minister Bill Blair, and Northern Affairs Minister Dan Vandal hold a news conference in Ottawa to launch the federal government’s new Arctic foreign policy.

They are joined by Northwest Territories Premier R.J. Simpson, Yukon Premier Ranj Pillai, Nunavut Premier P.J. Akeeagok, ITK Leader Natan Obed, and Kluane Adamek, the Assembly of First Nations’s regional chief for Yukon.
