Federal ministers announce new gun control measures – December 12, 2024

Federal ministers hold a news conference on Parliament Hill to discuss new measures for strengthening gun control. The event comes one day before the 35th anniversary of the massacre at École Polytechnique in Montreal.

Speaking with reporters are Dominic LeBlanc (public safety), Jean-Yves Duclos (public services and procurement), and Bill Blair (defence), as well as Rachel Bendayan (parliamentary secretary to the deputy prime minister and the MP for Outremont, Que.)
