AFN calls for a national inquiry on systemic racism in policing – December 5, 2024

There has been a recent surge of deaths of members of First Nations communities at the hands of police. Assembly of First Nations (AFN) is calling for a national inquiry on systemic racism in policing, something Prime Minister Justin Trudeau didn’t commit to when he answered questions at their national chiefs meeting on Thursday. CPAC’s Michael Serapio discusses the call for an inquiry with National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak.
