Tories urge Freeland to present a fall economic statement: House Leaders panel – December 4, 2024

The Liberal government has yet to table a fall economic statement. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre extended an offer to the Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland to do so on their opposition day in order to show “how much she’s lost control of the nation’s finances.”

We discuss this move, as well as the Conservatives’ motion of non-confidence they’re intended to introduce on Thursday with Liberal Deputy House Leader Mark Gerretsen, Conservative House Leader Andrew Scheer and NDP House Leader Peter Julian.
