Ottawa scinde son projet de loi sur les préjudices en ligne – 4 décembre 2024

Le ministre de la Justice, Arif Virani, a décidé mercredi de diviser en deux son projet de loi sur les préjudices en ligne afin de permettre l’adoption rapide d’une législation permettant de lutter contre les prédateurs sexuels qui s’attaquent aux enfants. Les parties les plus controversées du projet de loi concernant les discours haineux en ligne pourront être traitées ultérieurement. Notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance en discute avec le ministre de la Justice.
