Global Imams Council selects Toronto for western headquarters – December 4, 2024

At a news conference in Ottawa, Independent MP Kevin Vuong joins members of the Global Imams Council (GIC) to announce the selection of Toronto as the council’s western headquarters.

Representing the GIC are imams Mohammad Tawhidi, Abid Jaffri, and Paul Salahuddin Armstrong, as well as Dhafir Al-Shammary.
