MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons. Minister Karina Gould (government House leader) comments on the ongoing debate over a Conservative privilege motion that continues to stall work in the House of Commons. The debate stems from a House order concerning the production of government documents related to the now-defunct Sustainable Development Technology Canada.

Liberal MPs Chandra Arya, George Chahal and Randeep Sarai as well as NDP MP Charlie Angus face questions on media reports that the Indian government allegedly interfered in Patrick Brown’s Conservative Leadership campaign.

Angus and Chahal also comment on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s recent meeting with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.

NDP MP Blake Desjarlais responds to questions on his party’s next opposition day motion.

NDP MP Alexandre Boulerice discusses the financial struggles faced by Quebec electric vehicle manufacturer Lion Électrique.
