Conservatives oppose GST holiday bill: strategists panel – November 28, 2024

With NDP’s support, the Liberals’ GST holiday bill is expected to move through the House of Commons. The Conservatives have been opposed to it, with their leader Pierre Poilievre calling it “irresponsible and inflationist.” We discuss the move and the comments from the opposition with strategists Stevie O’Brien (Liberal), Jordan Paquet (Conservative) and former NDP MP and Vancouver mayor Kennedy Stewart.
