MPs comments on priorities for remainder of session, defence spending – November 25, 2024

MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons. NDP MP Heather McPherson, Minister Jonathan Wilkinson (natural resources) and Liberal MP Chris Bittle face questions on the legislative priorities they would like to focus on that are being delayed by the ongoing privilege debate in the House.

NDP MP Alexandre Boulerice comments on Canada’s defence spending and on the government’s proposed plan to deliver $250 rebate cheques to all workers who made less than $150,000 in 2023.
