L’Essentiel : L’Ontario joint le programme fédéral d’alimentation scolaire – 22 novembre 2024

Après le Manitoba et Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, l’Ontario a adhéré ce vendredi au programme fédéral d’alimentation scolaire. Notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance discute de cette entente, et des autres provinces qui pourraient faire de même, avec Judith Barry, directrice du Club des petits déjeuners.

Nous revenons sur l’annonce du gouvernement Trudeau à propos de la pause de deux mois sur la TPS et de l’envoi au printemps 2025 de chèques de 250$ aux travailleurs gagnant moins de 150 000$ net avec Christine St-Pierre, Rodolphe Husny, Gilles Duceppe et Farouk Karim. Nos analystes reviennent également sur le reportage de Radio-Canada faisant part du style de gestion du chef conservateur Pierre Poilievre sur ses troupes, ainsi que sur l’affaire Randy Boissonnault.

Le Nouveau-Brunswick s’est pourvu d’un ministre délégué aux langues officielles et d’un comité chargé de mettre en œuvre plusieurs recommandations provenant d’un rapport sur l’état du français dans la province. Catherine Lafrance s’entretient à ce sujet avec Nicole Arseneau-Sluyter, présidente de la Société de l’Acadie du Nouveau-Brunswick.
