Decisions to remove or keep in place the heritage assets at Centre Block during its renovations are made on a case-by-case basis. Kate Westbury, the Heritage Lead of the Centre Block Rehabilitation program, discusses the challenges involved in the restoration of the carvings and the fabric ceiling located in the House of Commons Chamber.
