Jagmeet Singh discusses temporary GST break on some essentials – November 21, 2024

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh speaks with reporters on Parliament Hill about the federal government’s proposal to temporarily lift the GST on children’s clothing and toys, certain grocery products, and other essentials. Singh said in a statement that the NDP will support the measure and will campaign on making the GST break permanent.
