Ahead of Question Period on Parliament Hill, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh discusses his party’s pledge to scrap the federal GST on home heating, internet and mobile bills, and various childcare necessities and grocery items. He then faces questions from reporters on the debate over a Conservative privilege motion that continues to stall work in the House of Commons and may impede votes on government expenditures. Now nearing its two-month mark, the debate stems from a House order concerning the production of government documents related to the now-defunct Sustainable Development Technology Canada.
