MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons. Ministers Marc Miller (immigration) Gary Anandasangaree (Crown–Indigenous relations), Dan Vandal (northern affairs) as well as Liberal MPs Jaime Battiste, Jenica Atwin and Green Party Leader Elizabeth May comment on the passing of Murray Sinclair, former senator and commissioner of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Minister Randy Boissonnault (employment), Liberal MPs George Chahal and Mike Kelloway as well as NDP MP Alexandre Boulerice face questions on Tuesday’s U.S. presidential election and the impact it may have on Canada-U.S. relations.

Ministers Harjit Sajjan (emergency preparedness), Kamal Khera (diversity, inclusion), Anandasangaree and Chahal comment on the recent protest that turned violent outside of a Hindu temple in Brampton, Ontario.

Boissonnault and Soraya Martinez Ferrada (tourism) Soraya Martinez Ferrada (tourism) discuss Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s criticisms of the federal housing accelerator fund.

May and MP Mike Morrice also speak about the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion and the federal government’s proposed cap on greenhouse gas emissions from the oil and gas sector.
