L’Essentiel : La Chambre des communes est toujours dans l’impasse – 30 octobre 2024

Les travaux sont paralysés pour une cinquième semaine de suite à la Chambre des communes. Les Conservateurs débattent toujours de leur motion réquisitionnant aux Libéraux de livrer des documents relatifs à une fondation environnementale. Notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance aborde les différents scénarios que pourrait envisager le gouvernement avec la leader à la Chambre, Karina Gould.

Comment mettre fin à cette impasse? Nous en discutons avec les députés Mona Fortier (Parti libéral), Pierre Paul-Hus (Parti conservateur), Christine Normandin (Bloc Québécois) et Peter Julian. (NPD)

Nous en parlons également de la contestation judiciaire de la taxe carbone fédérale par l’Alberta avec Frédéric Boily, professeur à l’Université de l’Alberta.
