Food Allergy Canada releases updated action plan before Halloween – October 30, 2024

In Ottawa, Food Allergy Canada and the Canadian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology hold a news conference for the launch of their updated National Food Allergy Action Plan. The release of the plan comes ahead of Halloween, which the organizations warn increases the risk of potentially life-threatening reactions in children with food allergies.

Speaking with reporters are Jennifer Gerdts, executive director of Food Allergy Canada, and Harold Kim, past president of the Canadian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
