Agri-food producers urge senators to oppose supply management bill – October 30, 2024

Greg Northey, the president of the Canadian Agri-Food Trade Alliance, raises concerns about Bill C-282, Bloc Québécois MP Luc Thériault’s private member’s bill that aims to protect supply management in future international trade agreements. Northey is joined at this news conference on Parliament Hill by representatives from Canada’s agri-food industry. Bill C-282 is currently being studied in the Senate.
