Aaron Zulinick of the Kamloops Storm is this week’s Young Guns selection after he scored two goals and added three assists in three games.
Zulinick had a goal and two assists against the Creston Valley Thunder Cats, then a goal and an assist against the Fernie Ghostriders.
Storm head coach Jan Ludvig said that the 5-10, 160-pound defenceman is starting to “play the game the right way” and defended well during that stretch.
“He is a super talented defenceman who is starting to realize that offence starts with defence,” said Ludvig.
In 12 games, the Kamloops native has five goals and eight points.
