Justin Trudeau stays the course despite internal dissent: strategists panel – October 24, 2024

Thursday’s announcement on immigration by the Trudeau government was overshadowed by questions concerning Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s leadership. It comes one day after a Liberal caucus meeting exposed the depth of discontent with Trudeau’s leadership. And reportedly, dissident Liberals are giving him until Monday to step down or face unspecified consequences.

CPAC’s Michael Serapio asks strategists Cole Hogan (Conservative), George Soule (NDP) and Sharan Kaur (Liberal) how Trudeau should govern while the internal dissent continues.
