Government of Canada to announce support for innovative businesses in Surrey

October 24, 2024 – Surrey, British Columbia – The Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of Emergency Preparedness and Minister responsible for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada (PacifiCan), will announce funding to help three innovative businesses grow locally and compete globally.

Randeep Sarai, Member of Parliament for Surrey Centre, and Sukh Dhaliwal, Member of Parliament for Surrey-Newton, will also be in attendance.  

The event will feature remarks from Minister Sajjan and a media availability. 

Event:  The Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of Emergency Preparedness and Minister responsible for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada (PacifiCan), will announce funding to advance regional innovation, create quality jobs and drive economic growth in B.C.
