Ottawa remembers the Parliament Hill shooting on its 10-year anniversary – October 22, 2024

It has been 10 years since a gunman opened fire at Centre Block and at the National Cenotaph, where he claimed the life of 24-year-old Corporal Nathan Cirillo. In the House of Commons, MPs held a moment of silence and shared statements marking the anniversary of the attack.
