Ottawa remembers the Parliament Hill shooting on its 10-year anniversary – October 22, 2024

It has been 10 years since a gunman opened fire at Centre Block and at the National Cenotaph, where he claimed the life of 24-year-old Corporal Nathan Cirillo. In the House of Commons, MPs held a moment of silence and shared statements marking the anniversary of the attack.

CPAC’s Michael Serapio looks back on those events with Julie Van Dusen, veteran journalist and CPAC contributor, and Kristy Kirkup, national reporter with the Globe and Mail.
