NDP calls for emergency debate on foreign interference by Indian govt – October 21, 2024

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh speaks with reporters ahead of the daily question period in the House of Commons.

Singh has written to House Speaker Greg Fergus, asking for an emergency debate on RCMP allegations linking agents of the Indian government to criminal activity in Canada. The NDP is also proposing the creation of a Canada-India committee to investigate the matter.
