Manitoba joins federal school food program – October 18, 2024

In Winnipeg, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland and Premier Wab Kinew announce that Manitoba is the second province to sign on to the federal government’s school food program.

Also in attendance are federal ministers Jenna Sudds (families, children and social development) and Dan Vandal (northern affairs), as well as provincial minister Tracy Schmidt (education and early childhood learning).
